Discover how Lancashire FA are transforming grassroots football with ROSE, a revolutionary new membership scheme designed to give back to the people who make football happen.

We’re delighted to officially announce a landmark agreement with Lancashire FA.

This incredibly exciting partnership will see Lancashire FA adopt the Sport:80 Platform to power their transformative new membership scheme, ‘ROSE’ - a first-of-its-kind initiative for a County FA, that will deliver unrivalled value to the county’s expansive football community.

Lancashire FA support thousands of clubs, leagues, and players across the region. In a bold move to modernise their operations and deliver unrivalled benefits to their members, they selected Sport:80 to support them with delivering a new digital infrastructure that streamlines administration and elevates member experience.

“We’re incredibly excited to announce our new partnership with Sport:80, who will play a crucial role in supporting us to deliver our new ROSE membership scheme,” said Simon Gerrard, Chief Executive Officer at Lancashire FA.

“Our aim has always been to better serve our football community, and by adopting the Sport:80 Platform, we’re putting powerful tools in the hands of our clubs, leagues, and players.

“We have big plans for ROSE. The Platform will be integral in our efforts to continually improve standards in the game, and we have new resources in place to build stronger, local partnerships that the football community in Lancashire can directly benefit from.

“For us, this is more than just a tech adoption; it’s a cultural shift that will help us nurture and grow the game across Lancashire.”

All Lancashire FA-affiliated clubs and leagues will receive a ROSE membership and gain access to the Sport:80 Platform, allowing them to seamlessly register players, collect monthly subscriptions, pay league fees, and much more. Ultimately, this will make club and league admin easier, faster, and more transparent.

Players are prompted to purchase a ROSE membership when registering to their club, but anyone connected to Lancashire football will be able to purchase a ROSE membership to unlock exclusive rewards from major retailers through a dedicated benefits and rewards scheme, integrated directly with the Sport:80 Platform.

There’s also the opportunity to upgrade to ‘ROSE+’, which offers enhanced rewards and grants ‘Full Legal Member’ status to eligible clubs and leagues, providing AGM voting rights and a greater voice in shaping the grassroots game.

“Lancashire FA has shown true leadership by reimagining how a County FA can engage members and support stakeholders,” said our COO, Jonny Turner.

“We’re incredibly proud to be providing the technological backbone that will bring their ROSE scheme to life and set a new standard for digital transformation in football.”

This agreement represents a significant digital overhaul for a County FA, underscoring Lancashire FA’s ambition to provide their members with industry-leading tools, systems, and benefits.
