Teaming up with SIRC to deliver a poignant research project

Over the past few weeks we’ve been working with Sheffield Hallam University, the Sport Industry Research Centre (SIRC), Sheffield Innovation Programme, the Sport and Recreation Alliance and Welsh Sports Association to deliver a research project which focuses on the Governing Body membership.

The aim of the project is to understand the financial and operational impact on a sports organisation delivering its membership offering. The survey which forms the foundation of the research delves into a number of key areas linked to delivering membership. The aim of the project is to understand where sports organisations can refine their membership strategy to become more efficient, engaging and sustainable.

Understanding how membership can evolve in the coming years is now more important than ever. Our hope is that the findings from this research can be used to form the basis of thought leadership surrounding innovation in membership to help drive the sector forward.

If you work for, or represent a National Governing Body of Sport or any type of sports organisations, we welcome you to contribute to this poignant piece of research. Simply click the link below to access the survey and complete it at your convenience.
