We are delighted to announce a new partnership with the Welsh Sports Association (WSA), the umbrella body which represents the best interests of the sport sector in Wales.
This newly formed partnership will see us work closely with the WSA to introduce a variety of technology-related initiatives and benefits to its members, as well as sports organisations across the British Isles. Victoria Ward, CEO at the Welsh Sports Association believes the newly formed partnership will have a significant impact on the way its members approach the use of technology:
"Harnessing technology is vital for the sports sector in Wales and we were looking for a partner in this area who would provide the greatest value to our members, particularly around membership registration and finance and data management. Sport:80’s market-leading platform speaks for itself, and their extensive knowledge and innovative approach will help deliver a wide range of benefits.”
Our Chief Executive, Gary Hargraves responded in kind, expressing how the partnership with the Welsh Sports Association will play an important role in the Sport:80 Community:
“A major part of our ethos is to work in collaboration with like-minded people who can benefit the community of sports organisations we work with. The Welsh Sports Association certainly fits that mould; they are progressive and forward-thinking with ambitious plans to support the growth of sport in Wales. They recognise the value that our technology can bring to their members and we are really looking forward to working with them on many projects going forward.”
In the coming weeks we will be announcing further details with regards to the initiatives and benefits that WSA members and members of the Sport:80 Community will be able to take advantage of as a result of this partnership.
