Tchoukball UK, one of the country’s fastest growing non-Olympic sports, has announced a new partnership with leading sport technology provider, Sport:80, that will see the NGB launch a new online membership and events platform.
The partnership with Sport:80 and launch of the Platform forms a significant element of Tchoukball UK’s strategic aim to improve engagement with members and further grow participation in the sport. Once launched, the Platform will modernise both the way the governing body manages its internal operations and connects with those participating in the sport across the country.
Put simply, the Tchoukball UK Platform will become a dedicated online membership and events system that enables anyone involved, or interested in getting involved, in Tchoukball to create an online profile and manage their affiliation with the sport. Once registered, individuals will be able to manage their Tchoukball profile, purchase and renew memberships, assign and manage qualifications and enter events among other features. There will also be additional tools for Tchoukball clubs, schools and event organisers.
In partnering with Sport:80, Tchoukball UK has also become the latest member of an innovative technology community. Already including the likes of Archery GB, British Fencing and British Weightlifting in the UK, as well as other further afield in the United States, the Sport:80 Community acts as a vehicle for knowledge sharing, collaboration and ultimately the growth of sport.
CEO of Tchoukball UK, Philip Moore expressed his delight securing a partnership which he believes will be a big step forward for the sport:
“We are really happy to be working with Sport:80; we’ve been incredibly impressed by the technology and the benefits that come as being part of the community. I think this will be a landmark project for Tchoukball and will go a long way to support all the hard work that has been done to date to raise the profile of our sport.”
Tchoukball UK will be working closely with Sport:80 over the coming months in the lead up to the launch of the Platform which is due to be in place for the 2018 season. If you would like any further information about this, or any Sport:80 projects please get in touch here.
